In 1995, a couple from Lévis, Québec, had a crazy dream: create high-flying acrobatic and diving productions. They founded Les Productions Haut-Vol, hired a handful of talented freelance artists and gave it a try.
Hugues Aubry, now President, arrived in 1998 with his trampoline and management skills. He integrated more and more acrobatic and trampoline acts into the productions until finally specializing in a true hybrid discipline: the trampoline wall.
In 2010, after many years of growth for Haut-Vol in Canada and the United States, a workshop was established to create customized shows and there’s been a strong demand ever since.
In 2012, Les Productions Haut-Vol caught the eye of a Cirque du Soleil producer during a performance for the Fête des Neiges de Montréal. This opportunity has led the team to create and perform about 10 acts a year for Cirque du Soleil.
It's in 2015 that Nicolas Fortin and Maxime Sabourin, with their successful carreer as circus artists, join the Haut-Vol team to help with the growing needs of the business.
Today, the once-tiny organization has become large, annually hiring almost 100 artists who contribute to its ever-growing success.
